Novices spend a portion of each week in the classroom and additional time on personal reading and study. Deep reflection and lively discussion of the topics bring fresh perspectives as well as new concepts and ideas.

Religious Life Class--this class is taught by the Novice Minister JoAnn Haney and includes topics such as the history of religious life, the vows and contemporary life of women religious. Instruction and study materials provide a strong base upon which to begin growing into today's religious life.

classroomFranciscan Life-- A focus of these classes is the early documents left to us by Francis and Clare as well as making thorough use current Franciscan Sources. These classes bring Francis and Clare alive and stress our Charism as Franciscan women to live the Gospel life. Classes are taught by the Franciscan Life staff including Novice Minister Diane Jamison, Ramona Miller, Ingrid Peterson, and others.

Study Time--Regular times for study are built into the weekly schedule.
